Maskit has been designed for those restorations where greater masking is required than can be obtained with a Rident? restorative shade alone. It is indicated for use as an undercoating to mask enamel imperfections and discolorations prior to veneering enamel surfaces. It is also used to mask pins and exposed metals as in porcelain repair and cosmetic covering of mesial amalgams. To enhance marginal sealing and provide retention, Masking Agent should be used with the acid etch technique and application of an RBond? adhesive. Shades available: White.
